Flat dark green leaves with white flowers in summer. Parsley is brilliant at enhancing the flavour of a wide range of foodstuffs. Its delicious with egg dishes, especially omelettes and boiled eggs. Rosemary Rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis
Rosemary is one of the most useful culinary herbs. A hardy perennial that has pretty blue flowers in early spring, with highly aromatic needle shaped leaves. Use with meat dishes especially lamb. It is a slow growing herb, but it can eventually reach about 3ft (90cm). £1.70
