Postage

Mainland UK including the Isle of Wight:
Lighter orders are dispatched by Royal Mail 1st class post. Heavier orders will be dispatched by City Link.

Please Note: A signature is required for orders delivered by City Link so please make arrangements for someone to sign for your plants, as we can not except reasonability for orders not delivered if no instructions are given.

For orders to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and any offshore Island around the UK:
Orders will be dispatched by Royal Mail 1st class post. Heavier orders will be dispatched by Parcelforce 24 hour (Please select this option when you order).

Please note: that plants are supplied bare rooted.

P&P charges for plants
Postage is automatically calculated depending on the amount of plants ordered.

Postage for other items:
Postage for garden candles is the same as for plants; one item out of the candle section is equivalent to one plant.

Payment
I can accept secure online credit and debit card payments and electronic payment via Paypal. I can also accept payment via telephone or fax (Monday to Friday 9 - 5) and also by personal cheque.

Plants
All plants are dispatched in good condition. Once they have left the nursery we cannot accept further liability since the cultivation and climatic conditions are beyond our control. In the very unlikely event of your order arriving damaged, notify us immediately, giving arrival date and all relevant details within three days. Plants are usually only replaced when lost or damaged in transit. If you need advice on plant care of any species, please e-mail us.

Delivery
We will endeavour to deliver your plants as soon as we can, but we may delay if weather conditions are not suitable (too hot or cold). We can deliver all over the country by 1st class post. Orders placed after 12.30pm on Thursday will not usually be sent out until the following week; this is so plants are not in the postal system during the weekend.

If for any reason it is unsuitable for us to send your order during a particaular week, please let us know.

If a plant is out of stock, we will send it when it becomes available. This sometimes can be a few weeks, particularly in early spring. If we can no longer supply a plant we will send a cheque refund.
